As Chief Development Officer for The Garrett Companies, Ken Koziol leads the development activities of the company from site selection and due diligence to all aspects of project design, construction and turnover. His focus is on efficiently maintaining projects that are executed on time, within budget and that meet all expectations of quality. Ken has over 25 years of experience in building design and construction for some of the largest projects in the United States with a total value greater than $3 billion. As a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, he was responsible for the planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance for naval shore establishments along the west coast and throughout the Pacific. Following a decorated career in the military, he spent over 15 years in the aviation industry. As Senior Design Manager for the McNamara Terminal project in Detroit, Ken led the design of the new airport terminal and Westin hotel for (then) Northwest Airlines. Afterwards, he relocated to Indianapolis as Deputy Program Manager for the New Indianapolis Airport to lead the planning, design and construction for the terminal area components of the project.
