Top Workplaces USA nominates The Garrett Companies for 2023 Awards

Earning recognition as a top-rated workplace was an achievement that Matt Griffin, Chief Operating Officer held in high regard. He recently had written about this in a message to his team. "When people see 'Best Workplaces' they usually think of 'culture', which they instantly equate to benefits, paid leave, and ping pong. I think that is a bit oversimplified and, quite frankly, outdated. First and foremost, we always treat each other with respect and understand that our team is people – not a means of production. People have enough complexity in their personal lives already, so we try to keep things simple and direct. Matt Griffin served alongside Eric Garrett since the inception of The Garrett Companies, and his people-focused mentality was infused into the company's strategies since day one. Matt laid the foundation for some of The Garrett Companies' most popular benefits and perks, including Garrett EDU where families can be reimbursed for up to $100K in post-secondary education expenses for their dependents. Matt passed away in January 2023, but his legacy continues to be celebrated through the company's accolades and accomplishments.
